Although users of VOIP require a high speed connection and may even require special software, the use of such technology has landline phone users switching over to the advantages that VOIP provides. High speed connections and VOIP services have literally done away with the snarling mess of under desk wires that accumulate from such services. Rather, all phone and conferencing transactions are handled through the computer, the high speed Internet Access and the VOIP software provided by VOIP manufacturers and distributors.
